Hiking in Kosovo

Kosovo's contribution to the Peaks of the Balkans includes the summit of Gjeravica (2,656m — the country's highest peak), the pastoral landscapes of Dobërdol, and the culturally rich Rugova Valley near Peja. This section of the trail offers the deepest immersion into traditional mountain hospitality and the most dramatic high-altitude terrain of the entire route.
